Should've gone to Loyola, huh? Interesting how one doesnt think of these things until nothing can be done about it. The state of our schools tends push kids towards graduation and not necessarily to independent thought.

Masters anyone?

Good Blog Mike.

Cheers,
Phil

Ha. I did not see the date. My bad. The fact that it did happen is still just as infuriating and just as telling is the fact that it is not entirely surprising that it could happen today. And of course, Dez is correct that it is just as outrageous, regardless of what your particular beliefs happen to be.

The opposite should be true as well then: a child allowed to make his or her own choice about whether they believe in a Almighty God. Regardless of what I believe, seems like a pretty obvious double standard.

And just came across this gem. Stefan Molyneux on Christianity:

"The belief that a cosmic Jewish zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you eat his flesh, drink his blood, and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree."
