Newspaper Socialism
The great state of Minnesota has approved a $238,000 grant to “help two daily newspapers adapt their products to an increasingly Internet-based industry.”
We, as a nation, are collectively going completely bat-shit crazy.
Your revenues are down? You have to lay off staff? Guess what? We’ve voted with our dollars. The result? We don’t want your product anymore. Adapt or fail.
This is the insanity of socialism folks. Two hundred thirty-eight thousand dollars were taken from people working their ass off to be productive–offering valuable goods and services at reasonable prices–and given to people whose businesses are failing because they’re selling products that people wanted 10 years ago.
